This is my sound, this is my story.

Back in 2017, My Sound Project kicked off as a way to share my story—loud, honest, and through the only language that ever made sense to me: music.

What started as one voice and a few speakers has grown into something bigger than I ever imagined—a community built on shared experiences, loud emotions, and the kind of connection that hits like your favorite chorus.

This isn’t just a project. It’s a space for healing, hype, and showing up fully as yourself. No matter how you found us, you belong here.

Hey, I’m Jojo—founder of My Sound Project and Flashlightrave Productions. At my core, I’m just someone who believes in the power of music to build bridges, spark joy, and make people feel seen.

I’ve always found purpose in the places where sound and community collide. Whether I’m behind the mic at a show, setting the vibe as a DJ, handing out trading cards to a kid who needs a smile, or speaking about the journey that brought me here—I’m fueled by one goal: connection.

I'm neurodivergent—ADHD and autistic—which means I experience the world a little differently. It also means I bring unique energy and perspective into every space I enter. My journey hasn’t been easy, but it’s shaped everything I stand for: equity, creativity, and showing up loud and proud for people who are often overlooked.

Through My Sound Project, I’ve been able to turn lived experience into action. This isn’t just a side gig or a passion project—it’s my life’s work. I’m building spaces where people can feel safe, supported, and hyped up for who they are. No masks. No gatekeeping. Just real moments, real impact, and a whole lot of bass.

Thanks for stopping by. Whether you’re here to collab, donate, dance, or just explore, I’m stoked you’re part of this.
